At the Airport

Face mask

It is compulsory to wear a surgical mask or a face mask (covering your nose, mouth and chin) at all times.

General Information

Passengers should be at the airport well in advance to complete all required procedures. Air Serbia recommends arriving at the airport 3 hours before departure.
Only passengers with a valid boarding pass or ticket will be allowed to enter the Belgrade Nikola Tesla terminal building.
Ensure you have packed protective gloves, mask and hand disinfectant before arriving at the airport.
Belgrade Airport has introduced new signage and floor markings to help you find your way around the terminal, whilst keeping safe distances. New technologies such as thermal screening and agglomeration detection are also in place.

Gate opening times have been changed with boarding opening from 90-120 minutes prior to flight departure to allow organised boarding.
Boarding procedures have been adapted to better facilitate social distancing. Follow the instructions given by the gate staff. You should only start boarding when your seat zone is called out.
To minimize physical contact between passengers boarding will start from the rear part.

Air Serbia lounge

The Air Serbia Premium lounge in Belgrade is open however with a limited product offering to ensure appropriate hygienic and safety requirements of the authorities.
Onboard the flight

Face mask

It is compulsory to wear a surgical mask or a face mask (covering your nose, mouth and chin) at all times.

In the cabin

Passengers should remain seated where necessary and moving around the cabin is not permitted.
As long as there are enough free seats Air Serbia attempts to seat passengers across the cabin, to enable as much distance as possible.
In line with the recommendations of national medical experts from Institute of Public Health, service on all flights will be simplified with a focus on minimal contact and thus reduce the risk of the virus being transmitted.
Passengers should use the button on the overhead panel to call the cabin crew in case of need. Queuing for toilets will not be permitted.

On the aircraft

Staff utilise full PPE onboard and will be conducting more regular checks and sanitisation of washrooms areas and aircraft touchpoints.
All aircraft are professionally cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. Careful cleaning is applied to all commonly used surfaces such as armrests, backrests, meal tray tables, seat belt latches, overhead bin handles, galleys and toilets.
Cabin disinfections are being performed in accordance with local and international recommendations.

Carefully follow the instructions from the cabin crew during disembarkation. Deplaning must take place in an orderly manner, with a proper queue, maintaining an interpersonal distance.
When you land, please keep your face mask on until you have left the airport terminal.

General information

Passengers may check destination arrival requirements via the airline’s website however this is the responsibility of the passenger.
Try to maintain social distancing as you pass through the airport and at the baggage belt if you are collecting a bag.
