At the Airport

Face mask

Effective August 7, 2020, mask exceptions apply only to children under the age of 2 (in alignment with CDC age guidelines).

Check-in

With the Alaska app, you can make sure your trip is as smooth and contactless as possible by using it to check in for your flight, generate a mobile boarding pass and more.
As part of your flight check-in process, you will be asked to complete a health agreement. For your safety and for the safety of others around you, the agreement simply confirms you have not exhibited COVID-19 symptoms in the past 72 hours.
Plexiglass shields are being installed in all stations throughout our network.
"Mind Your Wingspan" floor decals and signage at check-in as a reminder to stay six feet apart.

Boarding

To better allow for personal distancing, boarding procedures have been updated so guests board by row numbers in smaller groups from the back to the front.
Alaska Airlines policy, a cloth face mask or covering is required for the duration of your flight, including boarding and deplaning. These are available on request.
Self-scan your boarding pass and show your travel document to the boarding agent.
Lounges

Alaska Airlines lounges

Alaska Lounges in Anchorage, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle Concourse D & N are now open.
There is limited capacity, enhanced cleaning procedures and adjusted food and beverage services.
Onboard the flight

Seating

Through November 30, 2020, Alaska are limiting the number of guests on our flights and blocking seats.
Gate agents may reassign seats to create more space between guests or to seat families together.

Sanitiser

Alaska have partnered with EO products to provide hand sanitizing wipes that are 99.9% effective at killing germs.

Meals & beverages

The food and beverage service on board has been reduced to limit interaction. Alaska encourage you to bring your own food and your own water bottle to fill before you fly.

IFE

Seat back IFE can be made available on your own device through our Inflight Entertainment System.
Cleaning

In the cabin

The airline is using electrostatic disinfectant sprayers, which emit a safe, high-grade EPA cleaning solution that sanitize surfaces (overhead bins, armrests, tray tables, seatbelts, lavatories, etc).
Between every flight, a dedicated cleaning crew covers the most critical areas using a high-grade EPA disinfectant.
Alaska is using ATP (adenosine triphosphate) testing, where verification is conducted throughout the cabin
Arrivals

Upon landing, passengers will need to adhere to the disembarkation instructions as advised by the cabin crew and observe the health and safety measures set by the authorities at the country of destination.
When you land, please keep your face mask on until you have left the airport terminal.
