At the Airport

Face mask

Face coverings are required for all team members and travelers in the airport – where your trip begins, where it ends and where you connect.


Floor decals and signage at check-in as a reminder to stay six feet apart.
Anadolujet is now operating a limited international service.

Hand baggage

Passengers are recommended to reduce their volume of carried hand luggage at this time. However the limits remain the same onboard.


There are limited specific changes to boarding procedures however passengers are reminded to practise effective social distancing.
Shuttle buses have reduced capacity and are regularly disinfected.
Priority Boarding continues to be offered.


For a temporary period, only Ankara Esenboğa Airport special passenger lounge is opened for domestic flights.
Onboard the flight

Face mask

For your well-being and those seated near you, a face covering is required during flight but you can remove it to eat or drink.

General information

Staff have been briefed in detail about the necessary measures and what has to be done against the current outbreak.
In accordance with the decisions taken by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health all staff serving on domestic flights, use personal protective equipment and hand disinfectants, if needed.

Meals & beverages

Food and drink service is limited and in most cases this is pre-packaged items and snacks.


All blankets, linens and headrest covers are cleaned and replaced with fresh sets for each flight.

In the cabin

Aircraft undergo an extensive cleaning process upon completing their flight.
The surfaces our passengers come into contact with such as tray tables, seatbelt buckles and overhead bins are cleaned thoroughly with strong disinfectants using microfiber cloths.
Following the COVID-19 outbreak, the number of masks, disposable gloves and disinfectants onboard aircraft has been increased.


Upon landing, passengers will need to adhere to the disembarkation instructions as advised by the cabin crew and observe the health and safety measures set by the authorities at the country of destination.
When you land, please keep your face mask on until you have left the airport terminal.

Health information

All passengers must complete the passenger information form when arriving in Turkey.
All passengers will undergo a medical examination and those showing symptoms will have tests performed.
Passengers with a positive test result will take medical treatment.
