At the Airport

Face mask

It is compulsory to wear a surgical mask or a face mask (covering your nose, mouth and chin) at all times. Passengers must carry spare surgical masks or face masks.

Check-in

Passenger screening procedures are in line with Airports of Thailand (AOT).
Any passenger who is found with body temperature higher than 37.3 celsius or exhibits respiratory symptoms such as cough, sneeze or suspected of any risk factors, will not be accepted to travel.
The airline will ensure safe distances between passengers at all service counters. Floor markings will be added to maintain appropriate social distancing at all service counters, waiting areas and on transfer buses.

Boarding

Bangkok Airways is using a managed boarding process and this may take longer than usual. Passengers are asked to maintain minimum distancing at all times.

Hand luggage

No restrictions are placed on taking hand luggage however the airline recommends checking in larger items especially given limited space onboard.
Lounges

Our lounges

Starting from 1 August 2020, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited will reopen its passenger lounges at Suvarnabhumi Airport and Samui Airport to facilitate passengers.
The lounges are being disinfected by experts at every touch point and inspected by the international communicable disease control officers
Onboard the flight

Face mask

Passengers are required to bring and wear masks at all times during flight.

Meals & beverages

Suspension of in-flight food and beverage service and consumption of personal food and drink is not allowed onboard.

Service onboard

Passengers should remain seated where necessary and moving around the cabin when this is not necessary.
All cabin crew will be wearing protective masks and gloves at all times when on duty.
Clear guidance and information is provided by announcements onboard.
Cleaning

In the cabin

Staff utilise full PPE onboard and will be conducting more regular checks and sanitisation of washrooms areas and aircraft touchpoints.
Arrivals

Guidance

Deplaning is completed in a front-to-back system and is completed using a controlled system.
Any passengers to Koh Samui must complete a Public Health Declaration on arrival.
