At the Airport

Face mask

It is compulsory to wear a surgical mask or a face mask (covering your nose, mouth and chin) at all times.


Check in online for those flights in which this option is available.
Maintain the minimum physical distancing indicated by the signs.


Boarding procedures may appear more lengthy than normal as this is being completed in smaller groups.

Hand baggage

No restrictions are placed on taking hand luggage however Caribbean recommends checking in larger items.

General guidance

Caribbean Airlines continues to work closely with all stakeholders to maintain a safe and clean environment for our customers .
Special safety kits are available for hand sanitizing stations are mounted in key locations throughout the company.

Our lounges

Caribbean Airline lounges (Caribbean Club) are temporarily closed.
Onboard the flight

It is compulsory to wear a surgical mask or a face mask (covering your nose, mouth and chin) at all times.

Meals & beverages

The airline has temporarily placed on hold our in-flight meal service and Caribbean Cafe.
They recommend that you pack a healthy snack to bring on board. Be sure to cater for children in your care. A bottled water when boarding.

General service

Passengers should remain seated where necessary and moving around the cabin.
Crews are provided with special kits which include N95 masks and other items
Crews and customer facing teams are also briefed re: the international and country specific guidelines on how to deal with any suspected cases of COVID-19

Our aircraft

Caribbean Airlines aircraft are sanitised at the required industry standard.
All aircraft are regularly scheduled for deep cleaning procedures (in keeping with industry standards)
With the onset of COVID-19, aircraft cleaning processes have been further amplified and we have increased the frequency of testing the air quality in our aircraft cabins.
