At the Airport

Customer guidance

Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight departure time.
Some resorts offer in-hotel check-in. In addition to this online check in is widely available.
A new ‘Travel Ready Hub’ is offered online and passengers may pre-download the Fiji Time InFlight magazine.
Duty Free can also be pre-ordered online
Negative covid tests are required. Passengers may also have to undergo a temperature check.


At check-in counters, agents will be stationed at a distance from one another.
All checked-in bags are sanitised.

Hand baggage

No additional restrictions are placed on hand luggage. You should pack your carry-on bag light enough so that you can lift it up and store it in the overhead bin without assistance.


During the boarding process, the airline will follow the social distancing measures recommended by the health authorities.
Priority boarding is available.

Our lounges

The Fiji Airways Premium Lounge is currently open.
Showers must be pre-booked.
The children's area is also open.
Reading materials have been removed.
Dining is offered on an a la carte basis only.
Onboard the flight

Meals & beverages

Any food and beverages that the airline provides may be subject to additional changes

Service changes

No physical In flight magazine.
Customer Hygiene champion is available onboard.
Movement in the aisles will be minimized during the flight.
The service will be simplified.
Lavatories will be cleaned and disinfected regularly - there is no queueing permitted for lavatories.

Our aircraft

All aircraft are equipped with high-efficiency filters (HEPA), which purify up to 99.97% of virus and bacteria particles. In addition, its cabin air recirculation system renews the air every 2-3 minutes and its vertical displacement prevents it from being shared with passengers on the sides and in front.
Aircraft will be thoroughly disinfected using high grade chemical applications.
Additional enhanced cabin cleaning procedures, especially for windows, tray tables, armrests, seat belt buckles, overhead bin handles, and entertainment centers.


Upon arrival at your destination, stay in your seat and wait your turn to get off the aircraft. This will be completed in small numbers.

Other guidance

When you arrive at Fiji Nadi Airport, your temperature will be taken and health declaration forms collected.
Additional flexibility is offered as part of all new bookings.
Fiji remains closed to many nationalities and confirmation should be sought online at appropriate website resources.
Returning residents and citizens must request permission to enter Fiji from the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Taskforce (CRMT).
