At the Airport

Face mask

You are required to wear a face mask at Canadian airport screening checkpoints, while boarding your flight, at all times during the flight, when instructed by a crew member
All guests who are unable to wear a face mask due to existing medical conditions, must present an official medical note from a physician specifying this exception.
Change a cloth face covering or mask as soon as it gets damp or soiled.
All of our employees must wear masks or face coverings.

Check-in

Flair remains diligent to wipe down and sanitize check-in counters frequently. Please be sure to follow guidelines visible on the floor for spacing and distancing.
The airline will ask you some health questions and take your temperature with a contactless thermometer.

Boarding

You will be asked to hold your own electronic or printed documents while it is being scanned.

Security

Screening officers will be wearing gloves and masks whenever required to conduct close-contact screening .

Hand baggage

No additional measures are placed on hand-luggage items. The airline asks you to pack your carry-on bag light enough so that you can lift it up and store it in the overhead bin without assistance.

Boarding

To minimize your contact with other passengers, boarding occurs from back to front, with those customers seated at the back of the aircraft boarding first.
Your mobile boarding pass or printed boarding pass is scanned for touchless boarding.

To reduce service touchpoints, food and beverage offerings have been pared down, but you are more than welcome to bring CATSA-compliant food on board .

For your protection, Flair have enhanced standards for cleanliness, created more space for you on board, and modified our service to reduce physical touchpoints.
Lavatories are cleaned during the flight and extensively cleaned and sanitized after every flight.
All our aircraft are ventilated with fresh, outside air, or air that is completely cycled on average of 4-6 minutes through high-grade HEPA filters, which extract more than 99.99% of particles, including viruses.
Additional enhanced cabin cleaning procedures, especially for windows, tray tables, armrests, seat belt buckles, overhead bin handles, and entertainment centers.
Arrivals

Deplaning

To allow for more space when deplaning, our flight attendants cue passengers to exit the aircraft .

Other Guidance

The airline follows an extensive checklist to ensure everything meets our heightened standards. If an aircraft doesn't pass a spot check before you board, our teams can hold the flight and call back the cleaning crew.
Floor decals promote safer distancing at baggage claim carousels.
