You must be able to present a printed copy of your negative COVID-19 PCR test result in English or Arabic at check-in to be accepted for travel. Soft copies on mobile phones and handwritten test results will not be accepted.
UAE nationals are not required to take a PCR test before returning to Dubai, regardless of the destination they are coming from and the time spent there. UAE nationals will be tested on arrival in Dubai.
You must print and complete an ‘undertaking form’ if your journey originates in one of a number of countries (please refer to flydubai website for latest information).
Check in for your flight online. If available, please use online check-in for your flight to help reduce contact with airport staff and support social distancing measures.
Prepare a travel hygiene pack. Carry your own travel hygiene pack with you to the airport. Include enough masks for the entire duration of your travel along with hand sanitiser (less than 100ml) and antibacterial hand wipes.
Children aged six years and over are required to wear a mask.

Wait for boarding. When you reach the departure gates, continue to wear your mask and observe social distancing by waiting in designated seating. At Dubai International, the availability of food and beverage outlets will be limited.
Only proceed to board when you are called by the boarding gate staff, continuing to maintain a safe distance from other passengers and airport staff.
To help with smooth boarding, have your passport open at the picture page.
The capacity of the bus will be limited so you can maintain social distance from other passengers.
Priority boarding continues to be offered.

Hand baggage

Hand baggage will be highly restricted. You will only be allowed to carry a single piece of hand baggage, which should be the size of a small handbag, briefcase or laptop bag and weigh less than 7kg (to fit under the seat in front of you). Include essential items only.
Trolley bags and other larger items will not be permitted in the cabin.

The Business Class Lounge on Concourse B at Dubai International airport is open for First Class, Business Class and eligible Emirates Skywards customers. This may include transferring flyDubai passengers.

Customer guidance

All passengers travelling to Dubai holding a visit or tourist visa must hold a valid return ticket from their country of origin. Passengers arriving in Dubai without a return ticket will not be permitted entry.
All passengers must complete an ‘undertaking form’. By completing and signing this form, you acknowledge that you will download the COVID19 - DXB Smart App, self-quarantine as required and follow measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This form needs to be handed over to the Dubai Health Authority on arrival back in Dubai.
If you hold a Dubai-issued residence visa, make sure you can obtain an approval from Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) to return to Dubai before booking your flight. Without approval to return to Dubai, you will not be accepted for travel.
Be prepared for medical screening. Medical screening (including temperature testing) may take place on arrival at your destination.
You may also be required to present documentation which indicates that you are negative for COVID-19. Additionally, you may be required to quarantine or self-isolate. These mandatory requirements may need to be met at your own cost.
To avoid crowding, stand away from the baggage belt to allow other passengers to retrieve their baggage. Once you’ve retrieved your own baggage, wipe the handles with an antibacterial wipe.

Smart Gates at Dubai International are not currently in use. If you are transferring onto another flight and don’t hold a boarding pass, you’ll need to proceed to the transfer desk.
