At the Airport

Face mask

From 1 June 2020, all passengers travelling on Hong Kong Airlines flights will be required to wear a face covering or mask
Throughout the check-in process
Boarding at the departure gate
At all times when on board, except when eating or drinking or requested by our crew in an emergency situation
Disembarkation from the aircraft at the end of the flight
Passengers who are unable to wear a face covering for an extended period of time due to medical reasons may still be accepted for boarding but should declare this to our check-in agent. Questions on medical and travel history will be asked and your response will be noted in your booking record. We strongly suggest that you use alternative protection for the entire journey as recommended by your doctor.
Customers who arrive at our check-in counter without a face covering will be asked to comply with the Airport Authority’s requirement to wear a face mask in the restricted areas of the departure levels at Hong Kong International Airport. You will be asked to confirm that you have at least one face covering per customer in your travel party by showing these to our check-in agent.
You are highly recommended to keep your face covering on when moving around the airport for extra protection. Please check the face covering requirement of your departing and arriving airport before you travel.
