At the Airport

Face mask

Please bring your own face mask and make sure you have enough masks for your journey. A mask should be replaced every 4 hours. Keep a hand sanitizer with you if you wish.

Airport guidance

The airline strongly recommends checking in for your flight via our website or within the MEA app.
Entry restrictions can change with little or no notice. It is essential to stay informed regarding the latest regulations before you fly. You can check entry restrictions on the airlines Travel Forms and Entry Requirements page or via the IATA website.
Please fill the passenger locator form requested by the authorities to contact you if necessary.
Protective panes are placed at the counters in our service points, in order to keep a safe service distance between our employees and you, and ensure the safety of everyone.

Hand luggage

You are encouraged to travel as lightly as possible with all luggage checked-in except small hand luggage that fit under the seat.

Boarding

To avoid queuing in the aisle and boarding bridge, boarding and deboarding will happen row by row.
Priority Boarding is currently offered.

Our lounges

The Cedar lounge and Beirut lounge are ready to welcome you with limited capacity. Our catering services have been modified to adapt to the current situation.
Onboard the flight

For your well-being and those seated near you, a face covering is required during flight but you can remove it to eat or drink.

Service changes

Our lavatories are frequently cleaned during the flight.
Please make sure to bring your own hand sanitizer.
Non-essential items such as paper, magazines and hot towels are no longer available.
A simplified service for food and beverage will be offered onboard and this may vary in comparison to the usual service and product. This is subject to change.
Cleaning

Our aircraft

Additional routines for aircraft cleaning and disinfection.
High-touch and public areas like tray tables, seat belt buckles, armrests, window shades, seatback screens, doors and overhead bin handles continue to be cleaned before every flight.
All aircraft have HEPA filters for unrivalled air quality onboard.
Arrivals

Deplaning

Upon landing, passengers will need to adhere to the disembarkation instructions as advised by the cabin crew and observe the health and safety measures set by the authorities at the country of destination.

Arrival guidance

For all passengers arriving to Lebanon as a final destination:
Passengers must hold PCR negative test results from one of the certified laboratories by local authorities at point of departure and show it at check in.
Negative test result validity must not exceed 96 hours between the test result and the date of arrival to Lebanon.
Passengers who do not carry a negative PCR Test result are not allowed to board.
Passengers must complete the medical form issued by the Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon.
All passengers arriving in Lebanon from all other destinations must undergo another PCR test latest within 72 hours from the date of arrival to Lebanon at their own expense or quarantine at home or hotel for 10 days from the date of arrival to Lebanon.
