At the Airport

Airport guidance

You can select your seats online when booking or checking in.
Only Customers with confirmed bookings will be permitted to enter the airport terminals – flight bookings cannot be made at the airport
Check-in online to avoid contact with other passengers and staff.
Floor decals in the airport ensure social distancing.
Please allow extra time at the airport for confirming documents and health declarations.
All passengers traveling on Onur domestic flights or international flights departing from Turkey are required to have obtained a valid HES Code using the infrastructure made available by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
HES Code obligation does not apply for infants. HES Code that must be provided during ticketing and check-in will be used for periodic inquiries with the Turkish Ministry of Health.
All passengers must follow information published by us regarding the use of HES Code and hygiene rules applicable for traveling.

Hand luggage

Cabin baggage allowance will be limited to one piece of laptop, handbag, briefcase or baby items bag, in order to reduce contact and secure distancing between passengers during boarding and disembarkation.
All other items must be dropped off at check-in and will be carried as registered baggage.
The 8 kg cabin bag allowance applicable for passengers will be converted to free registered bag allowance.


During the boarding process, the airline will follow the social distancing measures recommended by the health authorities.
Boarding will commence in small groups.
No priority boarding is available.
Onboard the flight

Face mask

All passengers are required to wear a mask inside the aircraft and during the flight.

Service changes

Certain precautionary measures are implemented on our flights, with the aim of preventing the spread of COVID-19
Use the call button if you wish to use the washrooms or require assistance. Nobody should be standing in the aisles or moving around. Customers should remain in their seat at all times.
The catering and other sales channels are suspended onboard.

Our aircraft

All aircraft are equipped with high-efficiency filters (HEPA), which purify up to 99.97% of virus and bacteria particles. In addition, its cabin air recirculation system renews the air every 2-3 minutes and its vertical displacement prevents it from being shared with passengers on the sides and in front.
Onur follows regulations and advice from the Turkish Ministry of Health with regards to the sanitisation of our aircraft, protective equipment for our crew and requirements for our Customers.


On arrivals, passengers should remain seated until instructed to disembark.
Leaving the aircraft will be in small groups and controlled.
Ensure adequate social distancing at the baggage reclaim areas.
Masks must remain worn until passengers are well outside of the airport terminal building.

Airport guidance

All passengers, of all nationalities, who meet Turkish immigration rules are permitted entry to Turkey.
You must wear a face mask at all times whilst in an airport, and for the duration of all flights, to and from Turkey.
All arrivals into Turkey will be subject to a medical evaluation for symptoms of coronavirus, including temperature checks.
Any passengers showing symptoms including high fever, coughing or respiratory difficulties will be required to undergo a PCR test for coronavirus.
You will need to complete a passenger locator form prior to arriving in Turkey.
