At the Airport

Face mask

Wear a face mask at all times, both in the airport and on board your flight.

Airport guidance

Your temperature will be checked at the airport. If you have a high temperature you will not be permitted to board your flight.
Check-in online [at home] to minimise social contact.
Arrive earlier than usual at the airport. Please follow all the instructions at the airport.
Maintain your social distance in queues and waiting areas.
Use Express Baggage to drop-off your bag without queueing.
Pegasus crew will be wearing protective kits including masks and gloves.

Hand luggage

Cabin baggage will not be permitted on board. You must drop off your cabin baggage at check-in. You can only take on board one piece: A handbag, briefcase, laptop or bag for baby items.
All other items must be dropped off at check-in and will be carried as registered baggage.

Boarding

Self-scan your ID card and mobile boarding pass for contactless boarding.
Installing hand sanitiser dispensers on our buses, which are disinfected regularly.
Pegasus will be providing waste facilities in order to hygienically dispose of single-use protective equipment such as masks and gloves.
No priority boarding is available.
Lounges

Our lounges

The ISG lounge at SAW is currently open with capacity restrictions and a reduced service/ product available.
Onboard the flight

Face mask

All passengers are required to wear a mask inside the aircraft and during the flight.

Cabin service

Before every flight, we will use a thermometer to conduct body temperature checks of all our crew.
To minimise contact points on board, the airline is temporarily removing printed material such as the menu and inflight magazine.
The catering and other sales channels are suspended onboard.
Cleaning

Our aircraft

All Pegasus Airlines aircraft are fitted with HEPA, or High Efficiency Particulate Air, filters. This system filters more than 99.99% of dust particles and airborne contaminants such as viruses and bacteria.
Airflow is only from the top of your seat to the floor.
There is no airflow to the front or back.
The airline disinfects aircraft every 24 hours with high efficacy cleaning products that act against the coronavirus and are effective for at least 48 hours.
All cleaning, sterilising and disinfecting products used are approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health and aircraft manufacturer.
The Disinfection Procedure is coordinated by the Pegasus Airlines Ground Operations Team.
The disinfection of our aircraft is performed in accordance with the Airbus and Boeing Aircraft Maintenance Manuals by a cleaning team of 5 - 6 people.
Arrivals

Face mask

You must wear a face mask at all times whilst in an airport, and for the duration of all flights, to and from Turkey.

Deplaning

On arrivals, passengers should remain seated until instructed to disembark.
Leaving the aircraft will be in small groups and controlled.

Airport guidance

Ensure adequate social distancing at the baggage reclaim areas.
Masks must remain worn until passengers are well outside of the airport terminal building.
All passengers, of all nationalities, who meet Turkish immigration rules are permitted entry to Turkey.
All arrivals into Turkey will be subject to a medical evaluation for symptoms of coronavirus, including temperature checks.
Any passengers showing symptoms including high fever, coughing or respiratory difficulties will be required to undergo a PCR test for coronavirus.
You will need to complete a passenger locator form prior to arriving in Turkey
