At the Airport

Face mask

Wearing a face and mouth covering at the airport is strongly recommended whenever the minimum distance cannot be maintained
Disinfect your hands − dispensers are located throughout the airport


Check-in on or via the SWISS App
Print your boarding pass and baggage tag at home and take advantage of Self Bag Drop machines where available (e.g. at Geneva Airport)
Whenever possible, please be at the airport 2 hours before departure, especially if you are checking in luggage.
Please adhere to the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health and maintain the minimum distance whenever possible

SWISS lounges

Access to our SWISS Lounges is currently subject to certain restrictions
Lounges at Zurich Airport
The SWISS Senator Lounge A is reopened as a one-class-lounge with a dedicated area for Lufthansa Group First Class passengers and HON Circle Members. All other SWISS lounges at Zurich Airport remain closed due to the current situation.
Onboard the aircraft

Face mask

A nose and mouth covering is compulsory on board all flights, and should be worn until exiting the destination airport.
Please bring your own mask along, wear it correctly and change it every four hours.
Please note that face shields and FFP2 masks with valves are prohibited on board


You will receive a disinfectant wipe after boarding. We would like to point out that all surfaces in proximity to your seat should only be cleaned with disinfectant wipes provided by us.

Onboard service

Please take note of the altered service concept on board, which minimizes the number of physical interactions between our crew and guests

Meals & beverages

On our aircraft

The frequency and intensity of cabin cleanings was further increased. This applies in particular to the fold-out tables, the armrests, the safety belts, washrooms and door handles
HEPA air filtration system installed on all aircraft by default, allowing a complete cabin air exchange in approximately 3 minutes


Please practice physical distancing while leaving the aircraft and wear your mask throughout your journey until exiting the destination airport

Other guidance

The authorities of your final destination are requiring that all flight guests fill in a Passenger Locator Form on board. Please complete the form with your personal details and ensure that the information is correct and legible.
