At the Airport

Airport guidance

Some countries will ask you to fill out a Passenger Locator Form.
All passenger service areas and equipment are regularly treated with disinfectants, including check-in counters, security screening areas and boarding gates.
Dispensers with skin antiseptic, sanitizers and other hand sanitizers are located in the contact areas of the airport terminals.
The airport has signposts and decal markings to help you maintain social distance.
Online check-in is highly recommended.

Hand luggage

Carry-on luggage can not be accepted on board, with the exception of handbags, men's briefcases, laptop bags and diaper bags

Boarding

You might be asked to scan your own passport and boarding pass, to minimise contact with staff.
In order to maintain social distance and your safety, Ural Airlines try to avoid large crowds in the gate areas and carry it out using bridges.
When boarding with the help of buses more are used to maintain the necessary social distance of passengers.
Upon boarding, Ural Airlines flight attendants will provide you with a set of hand sanitizers.
Do not forget to take care of your personal protective equipment: masks and gloves. Ural Airlines recommend that you use them at the airport and on board. Boarding is only possible with protective equipment.

Onboard the flight

Face mask

Since masks must be removed while eating and drinking, passengers seated next to each other should not start eating and drinking at the same time.
If the flight duration is more than 3 hours, the flight attendants issue new medical masks to the passengers.
After one of the passengers has finished eating and drinking, the passenger sitting next to them can start eating and drinking.

Cabin service

Ural Airlines crews are provided with a sufficient number of masks and gloves to safely service passengers on board, even on long flights.
Each crew member undergoes special training and receives the necessary instructions in case the passenger developed symptoms of coronavirus or other illness.
Before the start of the flight, the crew members undergo a mandatory medical examination.
Passengers should not queue up in the aisle for the toilet.
Blankets and pillows are disinfected and undergo special heat treatment.
Each dish on Ural Airlines menu is prepared in specialized on-board catering workshops and packaged in one-time individual packaging.
The entire cooking process complies with all regulatory documents and recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor.
Cleaning

Our aircraft

All Ural Airlines aircraft are fitted with state-of-the-art ventilation and filtration systems to clean the air and flow fresh air through the cabin every few minutes.
Each of Ural Airlines aircraft undergoes thorough disinfection, including the cockpit and cabin. Backs of chairs, armrests, individual tables, curtains and inner windows are processed.
Strict compliance with the hygiene and routine cleaning protocols of Ural Airlines aircraft before each departure, as well as work spaces.
Ural Airlines use HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air) identical to those used in operating rooms.
Arrivals

Deplaning

After arriving at their destination, passengers should wait until those in the row in front of them have disembarked. All guests please remain seated until it is their turn to disembark.’
After landing, passengers will disembark from the aircraft in small groups

Given the current exceptional situation (COVID-19), extended entry requirements may apply. Before travelling to the airport, please research the entry documents required and the requirements that apply at your destination in detail.
You should keep your mask on as you leave the plane and make your way through the airport.
