At the Airport

Face mask

All passengers are required to wear face masks when entering the airport terminals and flying with Vietjet
Pack sufficient surgical masks for the entire flight duration. These should be changed every 3 hours.

Airport guidance

At the airport, you might find that some restaurants, bars and shops are closed.
Follow guidance from staff as well as floor markings at the airport to ensure appropriate social distancing.
Hand sanitising stations will be in place at most airports.
All domestic flights at Noi Bai International Airport will be checked in at Lobby A of Terminal 1.
A body temperature measurement area to detect passengers with flu and high fever will be put in place at all airports.
Passengers must carry out a mandatory health declaration when checking in at airports in order to support COVID-19 prevention and control.
Passengers can declare electronically via the website https://tokhaiyte.vn/, save and show the information when checking in or make a written declaration at airports.
Vietjet has been working closely with the authorities, airports, ground services companies to give instructions, information and recommendations to passengers in order to ensure the highest safety for them and the broader community.

Hand luggage

Passengers should pack their hand luggage lightly to reduce activity within the aisles of the aircraft.
One passenger (except infants under 2 years old) can only bring 01 handbag and 01 small handbag with total weight must not exceed 07kg.
Dimensions not to exceed 56cm × 36cm × 23 cm.

Boarding

You might be asked to scan your own passport and boarding pass, to minimise contact with staff.
The airline is attempting to use contact gates where possible.
Vietjet invites people to board in small groups so boarding may take slightly longer than usual.
Onboard the flight

The Vietjet crew will have some spare masks in case of emergency, as well as hand disinfectant.

Cabin service

All Vietjet Airbus aircraft are equipped with air purifiers and advanced anti-virus. As a result, the air environment in the aircraft reaches the same level of sterilization as the operating room.
The selection and availability of buy-on-board food and drink may be different and subject to change.
Vietjet asks you to stay in your seat as much as possible, and will guide you off the plane row by row, to minimise contact with others.
Cleaning

Our aircraft

All Vietjet Airbus aircraft are equipped with air purifiers and advanced anti-virus. As a result, the air environment in the aircraft reaches the same level of sterilization as the operating room.
Pall Aerospace, the maker of aircraft air purifiers, said True Hepa filters are equipped in both the cockpit and the passenger compartment of the aircraft with the function of filtering and circulating air.
The air in the aircraft cabin circulates horizontally, minimizing the vertical spread of air.
Strict compliance with the hygiene and routine cleaning protocols of our aircraft before each departure, as well as work spaces.
Arrivals

Deplaning

After arriving at their destination, passengers should wait until those in the row in front of them have disembarked. All guests please remain seated until it is their turn to disembark.
You should keep your mask on as you leave the plane and make your way through the airport.

Arrival guidance

Please be aware that you may be subject to randomised COVID-19 temperature testing on arrival at your destination, which will be determined and carried out by local authorities.
Currently transit in Vietnam is not allowed.
Vietnam has suspended visa waivers, issuing of visas and the entry into Vietnam for all foreign nationals.
There are a very small number of exemptions for diplomats on official business and certain high-skilled workers.
These will be processed on a case by case basis. Such applications are required to be led by Vietnamese employers who must work directly through individual provincial government offices. The requirements and process may differ from province to province.
The costs of quarantine, both in government centres and designated hotels, must be paid by those arriving or their employers.
