“Rio GIG Airport was updated in advance of the last summer Olympics, and the decor, services, and facilities deliver quite a good standard in each terminal. For transfer customers with longer waiting times, there are rest seats in the newer sections of the airport, and there are day rooms with showers and hotel in the landside areas. Terminal cleanliness is satisfactory around the gates but washroom presentation is rather weak.”
