Air Niugini is Certified as a 3-Star Airline for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
“Air Niugini provides satisfactory product standards, and while the fleet is not that modern, the cabins are well maintained and clean. Longer flights use older Boeing 767 aircraft, and seats have IFE screens and charging facilities. IFE programming is quite average. Meal portions are adequate and food quality is satisfactory. Cabin staff service is quite good, but ground service needs to improve, as this also combines with weaker facilities at Port Moresby airport.”
