“Cairns Airport does not achieve the same standards of some other Australian airports and falls short of 4-Star. Staff service is weak for various touchpoints, while the quality of terminal interior, seating and restaurants is quite basic. The lounge facility is dated for Terminal 1, and there is poor public transport provision to downtown.”
