LATAM Airlines is Certified as a 4-Star Airline

LATAM Airlines has been Certified as a 4-Star Airline by international air transport rating agency, Skytrax, following the latest in-depth audit evaluation.

LATAM Airlines becomes one of the seventy 4-Star Airlines worldwide, with this new rating Certified following the most recent LATAM audit assessments at the end of 2025.

Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines said: “LATAM achieved a 4-star rating in the World Airline Star Rating, becoming the first airline in Latin America to reach this global standard. Our vision is clear: elevate every journey and compete at the highest global level. This recognition, based on an independent audit, validates a consistent experience. We thank our customers and our teams for making this possible.”

Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax said: “LATAM Airlines has been making some good progress across both the onboard and ground operations in the past few years, and we are delighted to see the airline now progress to meeting the 4-Star Airline Rating level. LATAM Airlines provides a good overall passenger experience, with notable improvements to lounge facilities and a more consistent standard of onboard staff service. The onboard catering quality in both Business and Economy Class achieves a good level, and the onboard product standards show progression across the network  particularly for the wide body aircraft.”

The new Business class seat product on the refurbished Boeing 787 aircraft is meeting an excellent standard of comfort, space, and privacy.

The LATAM cabin crew performance is showing true improvement in terms of service efficiency and confidence, delivering overall across both long and short haul routes to a 4-Star standard.

LATAM lounges are a very good aspect of the Business Class ground experience and the new LATAM Lounge Lima is an excellent facility with a wide range of features and services, close to the 5-Star Airline Lounge Rating level.
