Malindo Air is Certified as a 3-Star Airline for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
“Malindo Air describes itself as a premium airline, but in reality it is more of a low-cost carrier with a small business class and IFE. Seat comfort in economy is fine for 2-3 hours, but for longer routes this is poor. IFE is satisfactory where offered. Recliner seats in business class are okay for 2-3 hour flights and meal standards are fair. Economy class is pre-purchase or buy onboard F&B, and the standards are not good. Cabin staff service can be good but is very inconsistent.”
