Discover Airlines has been Certified as a 4-Star Leisure Airline by international air transport rating agency, Skytrax, following the latest in-depth audit evaluation.

Discover Airlines becomes one of just three 4-Star Leisure Airlines worldwide, that are part of the global airlines group of sixty eight 4-Star Airlines, with Skytrax completing the Discover Airlines audit assessments at the end of November 2025.

Ulrich Lindner, CEO of Discover Airlines said: “We are very proud of this award. It proves that Discover Airlines has quickly become a strong brand in the high-quality private and leisure travel segment – and can easily compete on a European and international level. I’d like to thank the whole team: it is their success and the reward for their hard work in building and developing our airline over the past five years. Our guests can rest assured that we will not rest on this award, but will continue to invest consistently in their travel experience in the future – including the renewal of our entire long-haul cabin and the addition of the state-of-the-art Airbus A350 to our fleet.”

Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax said: “Discover Airlines delivers a strong, leisure-focused experience, positioned comfortably at a 4-Star Leisure Airline Rating level. The onboard experience is characterised by friendly and efficient staff service, good catering, and a competitive buy-on-board offer. Premium Economy offers one of Discover Airlines strongest value areas at this time, and it is noted to be highly competitive for a leisure-market airline. Their entertainment options are well developed across both long and short haul flights. As a leisure oriented airline operating within the Lufthansa Group framework, Discover Airline achieves a very good balance of comfort, consistency, and professionalism across the customer experience, and we are delighted to welcome them today to the global group of 4-Star Airlines.”

Starting in 2027, Discover Airlines will begin a comprehensive cabin refurbishment of its entire Airbus A330 fleet. By 2028, the fleet will grow from 30 aircraft today to a total of 40, including the Airbus A350 as its new flagship.
