Cathay Pacific wins the top Award for the World’s Best Economy Class Airline 2024. The World’s Top 5 Economy Class Airlines 2024 include Qatar Airways (2nd), Singapore Airlines (3rd), Japan Airlines (4th) and EVA Air (5th).
Cathay Pacific Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau said: “Moving up three places from 8th to 5th World’s Best Airline this year is a vote of confidence from our customers. Japan Airlines was named the World’s Best Economy Class Airline Seat 2024. The Top 5 Airlines for Economy Class Airline Seats were Cathay Pacific (2nd), Korean Air (3rd), Qatar Airways (4th) and Singapore Airlines (5th).
Saudia was voted the World’s Best Economy Class Airline Catering 2024. The Top 5 Airlines for Economy Class Airline Catering include Cathay Pacific (2nd), Turkish Airlines (3rd), Qatar Airways (4th) and Singapore Airlines (5th).

About the 2024 World Airline Awards
The World Airline Awards are independent and impartial, introduced in 1999 to provide a customer satisfaction study that was truly global. Travellers across the world vote in the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to determine the award winners.
All costs of the Survey and Awards event are paid by Skytrax, and airlines do not pay any entry or registration fee. There are no charges for use of the Award logos and results.
The online customer survey operated from September 2023 to May 2024. The customer survey is provided in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the 2023/2024 survey. Survey entries are screened to identify IP and user information, with all duplicate, suspect or ineligible entries deleted. More than 350 airlines are featured in the final Award results.
